The loss of a driver’s licence can have an effect on our daily life and create a sense of uncertainty for our family. Further, depending on your profession, the loss of the licence can mean the end of being employed. Public funding (Legal Aid) may be available for legal defence representation at either the Magistrates’ or Crown Court and we would be grateful if you would contact us to discuss your situation.

We will also advise you as to the likelihood of being granted Legal Aid and any cost implications that you may incur.

We assist clients in the completion of Legal Aid Application forms and the provision of all necessary documentation in support of such applications. Where necessary,  we will also assist with conducting appeals against the decision to refuse the grant of Legal Aid.

Where Legal Aid cannot be obtained, we will provide a quotation of the cost for representation on a private fee paying basis. We will provide an estimation of costs ensuring you are fully aware of all the implications involved, including instructing Counsel and expert witnesses where necessary, and any other disbursements charges.
